ABOUT THE ARTIST
Alice graduated with a first class honours degree in music production and performance from the university of central Lancashire. Now based near Guildford, she works as a performer, singer-songwriter, painter and disability advocate, serving on the Effingham Parish Council. Having worked with a wide range of humanity, Alice is passionate about stories. She has had a glimpse into many of the hidden worlds that surround us and feels she can unveil the unseen through her song writing. Her musical style is akin to Joni Mitchel and Aurora in quirky metaphor. Finding new ways to expound what cannot be comprehended. To give strength to the forgotten members of our society. Alice has worked with with a wide canvas of humanity, from refugees, to military wives, to disabled children. Engaging with these hidden worlds gives life to meaningful work with a broader potential for good. Within her performance work, Alice is passionate about bringing change, advocating for disabled artists like herself. Showing the next generation that using a wheelchair or a cane does not limit you from being a valued and professional artist.
